First Annual Virginia Cannabis Freedom Festival

Come celebrate your inherent Hemp & Cannabis Rights with the Virginia Hemp Coalition and the Commonwealth Collective on Sept 10th in Cville

About this event:

We hope you can join us on Saturday September 10th from 2-10pm @ the large field at The Shops at Stonefield in Charlottesville, Virginia for a jubilant celebration of our inherent Hemp & Cannabis rights. Proceeds benefit the VHC to fight for all our cannbais & hemp rights and the local Blue Ridge Food Bank by donating hemp foods to it.
There will be hemp foods, hemp beverages, hemp vendors, hemp education, hemp speakers, and hemp legislative updates along with a crab and oyster bar. If all that isn’t enough there will be amazing live music from local artists all afternoon and evening! Tickets are $35 for the entire festival – $40 at the door (if not sold out). We expect to sell out as we only have 2000 tickets for sale to the public so be sure to get your tickets early to support the very worthy causes! Please reach out to for more information if you would like to become one of our exclusive sponsors or vendors for the event. You must have some relation to the hemp industry (ie, providing a service to the hemp industry, having food/beverages with hemp ingredients, selling hemp products) to be a vendor. VHC members get a $50 dollar discount for any sponsorship or vending spot.

Hope to see you there!

Kendall Street Company is a jam-alt rock band based out of Charlottesville, Virginia. From late night jam sessions at the University of Virginia to main stages at venues and festivals throughout the country, Kendall Street Company has broken the mold of improvised rock and entered a world of jazz-grass infused psychedelic bliss. The band’s musical style embraces mind-altering riffs as well as soulful and jazzy wit, while remaining true to their folksy songwriting roots. With no two shows ever the same, word of mouth has quickly grown a ravenous fanbase eager to hear their favorite studio tracks explored and extended as part of a live community. As seasoned KSC fans can tell you, any one of their songs could easily turn from a fun sing-along to a cacophonous headbanging garage-rock soundscape, before finally resolving into a peaceful ambience.

8:00-9:30 Mighty Joshua

Independent Reggae Artist Mighty Joshua engages audiences by opening minds and activating bodies through song. Conscious lyrics flow freely to create distinctive refrains that pulse with pride against rhythms rooted in percussion. His soulful exploration in the evolution of sound creates an expression of reggae for the modern day.
